At the start of 2024 I needed a J, Y, and a Z. York was planned for New Year’s Day, but that didn’t happen. All should be completed by the end of 2024

Calendar Bingo
I started the year at 204 of the available 366. It’s impossible to complete this challenge this year, in fact, for me it’s impossible to complete this one until at least 2048 (the next time the 29th of February Saturday will be on a Saturday)
Compass Club
Visiting parkruns with compass points in their name. South Manchester and Northwich were visited pre 2024. East park parkrun has now been visited, and Henley Wood, Oswestry is also planned. This is another one which would have been completed by now, but for a cancellation.
Cowell Club
I started the year on 69 Events, That means that the earliest I can complete this challenge is the 13th of July this year. See you then
Gold Obsessive
Completing 50 parkruns in a year. My North Star for parkrunning in 2024, and the genesis of this whole thing.
Name Badge – Completed
Completing a parkrun starting with every letter of your name (Geoff Airey). If your name has the same letter multiple times, you have to complete a new parkrun for each.
I started the year needing an F and a Y.
Fleetwood Promenade ticked off the F, York (my nemesis) closed off the Y and completed the challenge.
Platinum Obsessive
Completing 55 parkruns in a year, This is possible, but let’s run before we can walk.
Position Bingo
Achieve positions ending up with 00 to 99. E.g. 300 completes 00 and 129 completed 29.
Pontefract’s position of 361 on New Year’s Day took me to 89 out of 100, so I’m 11 short
Record Challenge
Completing all parkruns within 33, 45, and 78 km of your average parkrun.
I’ve held 33, and then Clarence and Worden popped up.
I’ll complete 33 and 45 this year and seek to maintain them if any new events arrive, but 78 will carry into 2025 at least.

Visit 10 parkruns that start with an S. I’ve completed 6 already, I have 3 planned for 2024. It may happen this year, let’s see
Stayin’ Alive – Completed
3 parkruns beginning with B and 3 that start with G. At the start of the year I had 3 Bs and 1 G.
Greenfield Valley gave me my second G andGrave parkrun completed the challenge.
Stopwatch Bingo
Achieving a time with a number of seconds for each the values from 00 to 60
Since September 2022 I’ve been stuck on 59/60. Fingers crossed this is the year
Regionnaire – North West Region
At the start of the year I was on 51 out of 76, so this should be achievable. But after a change of plan I won’t be completing this in 2024.
Regionnaire – Yorkshire
I won’t be completing this challenge this year, but it’s one I can make significant headway into.
